OK I'm a bit OCD so I decided to look for people with the achievement and this is what I've found:

Some of these are obvious cheats but I don't know if any of them are legit.

I might look for more or I might just write a program to look for them. All the program would need to do is generate a list of users from the leaderboard then go to their community page and check for the achievement. In fact SMBStats already loads the leaderboard and lets you right click a name to go to their community page so I know it's possible, just I've never used the Steam APIs. I might work on this assuming someone doesn't beat me to it.

ah geeez - i stop playing for a good while and there are all these people with the impossible boy achievement >_<

Don't worry, there's no 'real' iron boy run from dark cotton alley. All videos at youtube have either quit to map trick or wrong levels order. But don't worry, I'm working on it :D (shit, today I've managed to make 1-15 run and I died at 7-16x :D)

Awesome run, bull. How difficult is it to jump the saws in 7-11 consistently? If it's relatively easy, I'm definitely taking that route from now on.

I've only had a couple hours to practice the run here and there, but the more I do it, the more realistic it seems. There are probably 10ish levels that I can do 90% of the time, 6ish that I can do about half the time, and another 4 that I need way more practice on because I can only do then like 20% of the time. It is, however, within sight. To all those who refuse to try it because they think it's impossible, just run it casually a few times and see how much progress you can make. You will probably be surprised. WE CAN BEAT THE IMPOSSIBLE.

I'd say - you'll make it in 9 of 10 attempts. It's very easy and consistent (for me atleast it was :P)

It's relatively easy I'd say. I made this run in about half of a day, running through the chapter sometimes occasionally

I suppose I could practice, but I just don't have the time to sit around all day and master Cotton Alley.  Which is what it would take for me.

This is not funni :< These first 5 levels almost made me vomit when I had to play them again and again after some stupid death :P (7-2x and 7-5x for sure :P)
