I love 2D games, maybe it's the art, it appears more stylized than what 3D can offer. Maybe it's because I grew up with 2D games and I have memories of playing them as a child. I'm not sure... does anyone prefer 2D over 3D and if so, why?

The only 2D games that I've loved recently at least, are Cave Story and SMB, other than that it's 2D from the 80s and 90s. If there are other 2D games (from recent past) please let me know...

Yeah, the 2D is the style I always liked, platformers are a type of games I really love, but I also like FPs (and thus 3D) and those Tactical RPG that are not really 2D but not 3D either.

Man I just realised I almost like all of the styles of games.

I used to make lots of sprites (Pokemon Splices, major edits, complete customs) years ago.

2D Games look amazing, but nowadays 3D Games are better.
