i spent a entire day on a level. 3 more enemy's to do. OLMOST DONE! *crash*...

......,,,,,,,ffffffFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

and let me gues.. there is no way to retreave a level that isnt saved ;_;

(kinda useles topic i know but i just had to vent this for a sec)

Geez, talk about awful luck.

Make sure you save often so that further incidents of this sort are less likely to happen. Devmode is highly unstable at times.

I actually go so far as to save several copies (in progress) of my levels. I've had them get corrupted on a couple of occasions and that has saved me from completely losing a design.

Definitely keep one right before you start decorating. That has always been what has corrupted them for me.

tnx for the tips guys.. oh well, luckely i can recreate it quite good.

EDIT: well figured out the problem.. apearantly my devmode crashes as soon as i save ANY level. i just made a empty map, saved it and it crashed... guess i will have to wait for the portal... *sigh*

Make a "Levels" folder in your steamapps/common/super meat boy folder.

Oh wow.

The FIRST thing I did was make a levels folder.

I'd laugh at you but I don't want to be a jerkass. I feel sorry for your loss and look forward to playing your levels.

They do, or was it mentioned directly one the Team Meat website ? I don't remember.
