Completed Meat Boy, plus all the bandages like everyone else, I had problems with the controls, but considering it was a cornerstone in the creation of the epic game we play now, it's worth it to go back and play the original

I found myself struggling to beat the first world because I was so used to being able to immediately bounce off walls that I was falling too much when I rushed. It felt like playing Jenga with oven mitts on.
Still, it was the starting point for one of the greatest games of all time, so it's not all bad.

I remember when I saw Super Meat Boy on sale, I decided to play the Newgrounds game first. I liked it enough to decide that I must have the bigger, better version. I suck at Meat Boy though, even with X-Padder.

Yep.
I plan on making a redub of some of those stages once the level editor is released (for me, devmode is becoming tiresome to use)
I was thinking of that too!

To be honest I didn't play the Newgrounds version till after getting SMB. I think the controls for it are fine, but SMB is much better

He was asked about it. Coincidentally, the question was asked because I brought it up.

I don't think so.12.??.2010 - Meat Boy (retro chapter based on the best of the meat boy flash prototype. 12.??.2010 - I Meat Boy (we take the best levels in the game remix them and make them harder!) A bit delayed but whatever.

I beat that game a while ago... ah, good times. I remember when I first found out about Super Meat Boy... that six month wait was so worth it.
