I've never suffered so much from a game like Meat Boy.

Today my Steam crashed and i decided to reinstall it, when i started meat boy up the whole game was reseted to level 1.
None of my 106% completed was there.
MY FUCKING 74hours PLAYED ARE GONE.

Seriously why did my save get removed when i reinstalled Steam, every other game does save the game in "My Documents" and are still there.

Jesus...i just cant replay Meat Boy. It's too much hassle.

I'm so emo right now.

Yeah my Achivements are still there, guess they are saved over Steam community network.

All other games does have their saved files kept. Even Braid.

Well most of the time playing was gaining skill, I'm pretty sure if you were to do every level again it would be much easier.

In fact, I'd take it as the opportunity to get better.

Because when you delete Steam, it deletes all the files it has. It the game has Steam Cloud, the save is on the steam servers and you cant loose it. But, hey, SMB doesnt have Steam Cloud, so...

Dont worry, I lost my save too. I'm replaying the game and I has Worlds 1~4 at 100% again, so in no time you will get again 106%

I'd recommend downloading a 100% save off the internet.

My PC died with my save, I had 84 bandages, over 50% Cotton Alley completion, almost 100% and some Iron runs.
I did all of that againg without bitching.

I also lost my Half Life save as well, and my Audiosurf one.
And my Gish one.
And my Aaaaaaa one.
And my Lost Coast one.
And my And Yet It Moves one.
And my Mr Robot one.
And my World of Goo one.

I redid all of them without bitching.

^Trust me, the second time playing this game will take maybe 10% of the time it took the first time. It's well worth doing and you can improve your times and attempt the 0 death achievements while you're at it.

Shit, I was gutted to find that my XBLA had forgotten the last three bandages in Hell that I'd collected earlier. But they only took me 15 minutes to get back. I'm not sure I could face The Guy warpzone again...
