I've never suffered so much from a game like Meat Boy.

Today my Steam crashed and i decided to reinstall it, when i started meat boy up the whole game was reseted to level 1.
None of my 106% completed was there.
MY FUCKING 74hours PLAYED ARE GONE.

Seriously why did my save get removed when i reinstalled Steam, every other game does save the game in "My Documents" and are still there.

Jesus...i just cant replay Meat Boy. It's too much hassle.

I'm so emo right now.

Hey man I had the EXACT (literally) same problem two days ago and I managed to fix it.

I wanted to post it in this topic, but I thought I might as well make a thread so that other people might be able to find it via search in the future.

You did post this a long time ago though so I have no idea if this method works after 2 months :S

Or just deeplink your save files to a safer location, so you don't have to worry about them. And then just deeplink your deeplinked file...
