So, Gentlemen. I am working on a weapon mod for TF2, which is in beta. It basically takes the unlockable weapons and gives them alternate stats, sometimes completely changing them. It is a work in progress mod, and many things are subject to change. Oh yes, each weapon has a Particle effect attached.
If you want to get beta, 'donate' 3 weapons I don't have. But I wouldn't expect you to believe me just yet, there's a TF2 Demo below that shows me using the weapons I've made so far. To run it, go into TF2 and in console, type "playdemo tfitemtest" If you want to, you can go in third person (by typing sv_cheats 1 and then thirdperson, and to disable, first person. To make the camera stop moving, type thirdperson_mayamode while in third person, and then again to make it move again.) Here's the current PUBLIC Release. Update 1: Weapon sets are GO! The first custom Weapon set is for Blutsauger / Kritzkreig. Sadly, the names don't display correctly. Update 2: Hey guys! Big update! The mod is now FREE! I've gotten a server to host it on, and although it's not perfect yet, it's pretty fun. 63.208.142.127:27015 This is the server IP so you can join. Attatching unusual hat effect particles is a lazy way of making the weapons recognizeable. If you want them to be unique, use models from Game Banana. Of course, getting the viewmodels for them to work would require a bit of coding, but while you're at it you could also make the weapons their own weapons instead of stat changes, able to be switched on the fly. Don't worry if that's too much work or you can't figure it out, because this has already been done before.Not only has it been done, but it's been done far better.

This sounds like it has the potential to be COMPLETELY unbalanced unless done PERFECTLY, and this scares me.
Plus, there's the Advanced Weaponizer which creates new weapons with stats and so on, which is fairly polished, constantly updated with balances and new items, and so on.
I do not feel comfortable giving three weapons to someone for a mod that will be (and should be) free anyway.

I actually made one around the same time they made theirs. Well, that's why I require more weapons - so that I can test them and make sure they're not completely overpowered. (Although I did make an overpowered pack ages ago, Rapid Fire Flaregun ftw) Also, yes it will probably be free in the future, but I require weaponry because without it I cannot ensure perfect balance. And sure, I can idle to get them, but which weapons drop is completely random and it would take me what, MONTHS? Edit: http://filesmelt.com/dl/Insani_Squad_Public1.rarHere's the old version, free. If all you want is to see weapons with those, or similar, stats in the game, just submit them here. The degreaser actually I didn't mean it to be a W+M1 tool, I only realized in game what it was. The FaN, yes, was just a bigger clip and such. I thought it might be a good idea. You can't make EVERYTHING perfect on your first try, can you? I also made an Ambassador that lights people on fire and a special Medigun. (Although I'll probably change it again to be something more... different.) Edit: The next release has been delayed by a day... all my work was fucked up. Note to self: Never fuck with Item Sets.
