I can't get Super Meat World to work.  I get to the main menu and it does nothing.  How long is "a long loading time" anyways?  I can back out to the main menu with no problem, so it's not freezing.

Bleh.  So close!

After so much time using the controller only... LoL, invisible mouse.  It's not invisible if you run in windowed mode btw.

Yay extra levels!

Use your mouse, there's an invisible cursor with which you can select stuff.

I've had no problems with the update.

AS for potato boy he feels slidier than meat boy. Like Mega Man 1

If Potato Boy becomes fully unlocked editor character....

I have dibs on chapter named "Meat and Potatoes"

Potato boy seems even faster than Meat boy. I could be wrong, though.

The game is about meat parkour, not standing still

The whole update is crap. I expected a cleaner running game after 4-5 months of "hard" work. The loading of SMW takes alot longer than the Xbox version, fun factor doesn't work, SPB chapter isn't finished (I can see why), levels (all levels, in-game ones too) have a bit more lag starting out, End crashes (I was planning on doing Dead Boy tomorrow) and no Hell music for Expert Remix?

My total performance and ammo have gone up after the lag of starting the levels go away.

Don't complain with "but...but...but...not finished!" because honestly more pleasing design could have gone into it. Not bashing Team Meat totally, but it's a bit below-average.

I think it's just a debug patch tbh.  As far as the chapter is concerned, they don't have to be 20 levels to be complete.  Edmund stated months ago that anywhere from 3 to 20 levels constitutes a chapter.  I think the only reason we got a patch at all was to do the April Fools potato gag and the addition of an unfinished SMW was just included as a bonus.  It will be finished when it is finished.  But for the time being, I'm avoiding the game.  I already dealt with the preorder bug bullshit-fest once... I'm not doing it twice.

Two people did all the work.  I don't think you understand (and I like how you put hard in quotation marks as if it wasn't really hard work because you monitored them for 5 months and you know) just how much work went into this update. Like one person did all the coding and added a whole brand new server to further complicate things.

Not bashing Team Meat totally,

Yes you are.

How many dollars did you pay Team Meat for this update?

Stop being so angry about a video game.

You can play as Potato Boy in boss fights. Can someone check if that holds true for Cotton Alley?

Bugs:

Unable to see cursor on meatworld.

Unable to give a rating for completed levels.

During Super Potato Boy levels I right click on my mouse and the game crashed. http://steamcommunity.com/id/Vince2501/screenshot/542890463883493208

BTW: How do you access the new level editor?

Im sorry but..
Has absolutley noone at all realised that the bugs are obviously part of the april fools patch? Heck, the patch notes even said more bugs. And its pretty damn common sense that 99% of the SMW bugs are delibrate. I mean, hes shown a few pictures of the different character/tileset show things, its pretty dumb, heck downright stupid to release an update in this state, i mean, seriously. I had a pretty good laugh when i saw all the bugs actually.

so yeah, common sense. Noone in their right mind would release a patch like this to a retail game if it was this buggy, unless it was delibrate.

And if by some chance im horribly wrong, then I will question Team Meat. But surely, after this amount of dev time, simple things such as navigating the interface will work. I mean, heck, hes shown pictures of it before. You dont DARE release an update in this stat unless its on purpose, and as i said, the patch notes even said more bugs.

Is the joke Potato Boy or the decreased difficulty on harder levels?? (that would really suck).
Between i just tried the expert remix and i loved the ingenious difficulty of the levels (i love to see how a level can transform into harder versions of itself )

That is absurd and no one in their right mind would release a buggy update on purpose, April 1st or not.
