Blablabla

That is absurd and no one in their right mind would release a buggy update on purpose, April 1st or not.

Exactly. If it was in this state, they would obviously know, and theres no way they would release it.

You don't get it. What they did isn't part of the joke. Edmund said it was a public beta, deal with it.

Super Meat World is just like Super Meat Boy, it gives you so much for so little...but it's also extremely cruel!

In any case, I thought the "April Fool's joke" was pretty hilarious.  Now it's time to fix my End.  That'll do Team Meat, that'll do.

Potato Boy spawns MUCH faster than Meat Boy and I'm worried it could lead to some leaderboard breaking. I noticed it on Expert Remix 19 - AAAAH. All you have to do is run to the right as the level loads and grab the key, you'll just fall to the lower level before the laser activates. I know SMW isn't saving times right now, but I imagine this could be abused on actual main game levels liek Adversary.

At least he'll be gone soon.

Unless he spawns faster than 4Bit Meat Boy that won't be an issue.

Certain stages (expert remix, for example) don't allow selecting 4-bit meat boy. So the difference in times may persist once potato boy is gone.

Will custom stages count in the leaderboards once the update is done?

Ah, but there's no leaderboards for the SMW chapters. So it doesn't make a difference at all. The only places it could make a difference would be The End but that's broken. And when they get rid of Potato Boy/make him a different character, he won't be usable in The End anymore.

I don't like that music played in every single Super Meat World map too much, I would prefer to hear different music depending on the tileset used in the map.

Yes but there are, in fact, no level that Potato Boy can access while 4 bit Meat Boy can't that have time registered.

Anyone else notice stuttering (like lag spikes) during the last level in the Remnants World?

Love the featured Remnants and Butcher Boy worlds the most. Most of the other levels I don't like as much because they're more hard than fun. I've been taking screen shots like a mad man on my progress. Great stuff!

This is what it says on steam:

Updates to Super Meat Boy have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:
Bugs
Difficulty decreased on harder levels
Better Ammo
Happy #PotatoFoolsDay

They knew there were bugs, They might not have put (all of) them in on purpose, but don't worry they'll be on it soon enough.

I mean, I'm sure there were some that were on purpose I mean, a whole chapter not working? Of course it's an April fools joke... right?
Luckily I beat The end about a week ago, so no need to go into it

Finished editing/encoding my blind run of Expert Remix after a 1.5 month hiatus from playing the game [uploading now]
...have definitely gotten worse <__<

there seemed to be an issue for me in the 2nd Expert Remix level - there was a block in the way preventing me from finishing the level :/

oh and it's a potato? I thought it was a rip off of sackboy from little big planet

edit: I notice the 2nd level thingo is happening for others (and has a topic dedicated to it :P). disregard me

Yeah, I've noticed the tile errors too. There were a few stray grass tiles in some of the Sewers of Goo levels, and I doubt that those were unintentional.
