Ever since the last update, areas like Hell and The Cotton Alley that have pools of deadly liquid (for lack of a better phrase) show a thin bar, but then below it empty space.

This is most prevalent in stages where you have to go quickly to avoid rising liquid (be it lava or  juice), and only a thin stripe chases you.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Yeah the same thing has happened to me, seems like the bars that support the buzz-saws are gone too and the background seems to be missing some stuff (not sure about that though:P)

Dunno how to fix it unfortunately!

It's very simple actually.
The gameplay, graphics, and sound of SMB were all too good, and the version you have saved to your hard drive was getting death threats from the other, jealous games on your computer. To protect its personal well-being, it sacrificed part of its graphics quality and went into hiding.
