Wow, I'm sensing some hostility.
Okay, here's my solution. Just throwing this out there. Why doesn't everyone who doesn't like how Headcrab functions not play Headcrab, and everyone who does can?
The only thing I'd like to change about the crab is a way to alter the annoying death noise.

Anyways the main reason that I hate Headcrab is the fucking Geiger Counter that makes my ears bleed.

I'm tempted to play through the whole game using only headcrab all of a sudden... even though its impossible.

Aren't Gish and Goo Ball the same?

Also, compared to Gish, Headcrab has a longer and slightly shorter jump. That's the only difference.

Gish is noticeably faster than Gooball and slides a lot more. He feels really...slick. Gooball is a bit more uh, sticky so to speak.

And Gish sticks to walls more easily. Well, I think he does anyway. He seems to, judging by some videos I've seen.

Gish is faster and overall better.
Headcrab have a smaller but longer jump than Gish and Goo Ball.
Goo Ball is the worse in terms of gameplay imo.
