My suggestions: 1- Having a life limit on glitch levels makes no sense, because it's only one level. Make it endless, just like in normal maps. 2- Make the leaderboards useful. Add a level by level leaderboards and a chapter by chapter leaderboards. REMOVE THE CHEATED/BUGGED TIMES. Oh, and the scores should be only the sum of your times, not strange formulas to make the number big... 3- You can't replay the level if you saved your replay. You have to go back to map and choose the level again. This should be fixed.
I totally agree with the three lives limit in glitch levels! That's one of the few things in the game that are frustrating without making any sense. Regarding the button configuration i would like to suggest using the "down" arrow to run (you can change it by yourself..). I found it to be really confortable

Beat 0 levels, have highest score on leaderboard. Sounds great to me.

I have an idea:
-A notification for when you beat your record time on a level, with a button to go to the leaderboards.

I no longer visit these forums due to lack of interest in the community and to an extent, the game itself.

^Look at the lower-left corner. It will only show the save icon (a waving bandage girl) if you beat your time. Maybe you only have a chance to see this if you play on a slow laptop like me, but yeah, this is how I can tell.

-I have no problem with the 3-lives in the Warpzone, but I hate to have go back from the main screen and have to see that freaking animation again. This just ruins the flow of the game. If the player lose his three lives, just kick him back to Level 1. Oh god yes! Please! I also don't care about the 3-live limit, it makes it more challenging, but it's soooo annoying having to sit through the animation each time. Takes like 10 seconds, and has no added value. I think of the 20 hours I've put into this game, I've sat through at least 30 minutes of waiting to restart warp zones for no real reason. My suggestions (i.e. stuff that bugged me): - When I finish a level, I want to see what time I got right away without having to sit through the entire replay.
- During gameplay, please show the time needed to get A+ near the current time. Perhaps even a beeping sound when you're running out of time, so I don't waste my time trying to finish the level anyway.

I think that we can conclude that we do not want beeping in our Meat Boy.

Well thank god for options menus then . Beeping was just an example. A better idea would be to intensify the music. Like in the light-world/dark-world transition. Same music, more intense, so you know you need to hurry up.

I found many great ideas there, keep on updating the list! Here is all my way-to-long suggestions: Idea #1: I find it anoying when you complete a warp zone, glitch or boss level you have to press space imeaditly after you complete it, if you want to be able to see the replay and save it. This is anoying in example warp zones like "The Kid" where you could get an awsome replay, but most people get to exited when they beat the first level, that they forgets. So maybe you could under setting enable if you wanted to show the replay automatic when you completed a warp zone/Boss/glitch level Idea #2: In all replays with misiles, buttons, keys, dissapearing walls... etc, you cant see the action from those objects i just said, exept from the final try. So example with the missiles, you will see a lot of meat boys just splatting out, wich isnt cool. So i suggest being able to show "ghost replay" where the other deaths would be shown with a grey/blue transparent colour, so you also could see the other missiles just different. And maybe you could enable colours for each replay, so example: one replay would have yellow missiles and a yellow meat boy, so you could see wich one was for wich replay. And then you could change focus by pressing "up" so you could see non-ghost view on another replay, waching how you failed... Idea #3: What about specefic death counter, showing how you died, example: Overall: 2311 deaths. Saws: 961. Out of screen: 433. Spikes: 211. Fireballs: 63. Seeking missiles: 52 Fans: 4. and so on, you get the point. (It should list from most deaths to least). And also show with the worlds example: Forest: 98 deaths. Dark Forest: 261 deaths. Hospital: 451 deaths... and so on. Also maybe with each level like: Forest Boss: 61. Forest Level 13 (or showing name instead): 15 .... etc. It could also show how many times you won the different levels. I Dont know if that was a too big update, but i think it would be pretty cool. If it got released you could get a message like: "Do you want to reset your death counter to get showned more preciously death detial?" Idea #4: Being able to show your fastest time on a level as a "ghost" (you know a bit transparent" so you could have more fun beating you time. Then you could maybe also send the ghost replay to a friend so he could try battle it, so it would be like a race. Sorry for writing all those long ideas, but i had to get them out of my head The sad thing is that Team Meat will probably never read this...

I could have sworn I already had ghosts down. Must've been in a different thread...

Agreed with this one. Also check this thread: http://supermeatboy.com/forum/index.php/topic,1452.0.html, which basically covers the same thing. Also, I'm pretty sure I've seen the ghost suggestion elsewhere too. I'd like to believe this would give a lot of added value to the game.
