There's only one or two memes every year that are actually really funny IMO, like the 60's Spiderman macros.
Otherwise there are memes that are just beaten to death (e.g rickrolling, lolcats), and some that aren't even funny at all (e.g MLP (yes i'm going to get beaten to death for this one))

Completely agreed. A lot of memes would be much funnier if they hadn't been over-abused by everyone trying to take it to the next level. Not every viral video needs an autotune remix!  |

For example, "trollface" when someone bugs someone, but not something like "LOLOLOLOL TROLLFACE JUST BECAUSE I USE TROLLFACE ITS FUNNY". Example:  "Heyy" "Hi" "Do you have any plan this night?" "No..." "I have it!" See? An excuse to use trollface and foreveralone. And thats something that people thinks that its funny. Because it uses memes. |
