Hey Y'all,
Was wondering if you had any suggestions for people who really enjoy SMB. I'm looking for some other similar games but have never been much of a PC gamer (sacrilege, I know).
Would love any suggestions of other similar style games (masocre) for XBLA particularly if the gameplay would be similar. I'm trying to find some more stuff but am starting to genuinely think that SMB is the single greatest video game ever created.
Thanks!

N+ is the most similar game to Super Meat Boy on XBLA.
If you're looking for amazing platformers in general: Add Splosion Man, Winterbottom(more on the puzzle-ish side), and Trials HD to your list.
All fantastic games.
Also just to note, N+ is floaty as hell but still really good.

That's why I stopped playing after level 1.

I can't say that there's anything "close" to Super Meat Boy, but if you're looking for good platforming games then I strongly recommend you check out Trials HD and Limbo, just to name a couple. I've also heard good things about Splosion Man but I haven't tried it myself.

Cool. That seems a good enough list to be getting started with then.
n9195v = will definitely be in touch once I get the game.
Thanks all for your help!

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Mega Man 9/10. Absolutely essential if you consider yourself a fan of platformers.

Yep, their on XBLA, PSN and Wiiware. I have MM9 myself on XBLA and Wiiware, MM10 on WiiWare. And if you think some of the Meat Boy achievements are insane, go try to unlock "Mr. Perfect" in Mega Man 9... That is INSANE!
