What don't you like about the editor?

Relevent post is definately relevant:

I actually don't hate the "Alpha" editor, but... then again, I didn't get a chance to try it, so I cannot say.

What I'd love for the editor is when you load a level I want a list of the levels, not typing in a box trying to remember what I called the level.

Still holding out hope that we'll see level times, completions and A+s recorded for SMW. About the only thing that gives me hope that we actually may see that is the fact that voting is also still broken.

Also, when I use the level editor I automatically go to full resolution fullscreen mode.

Put your mouse where you want to put the spawn point and press the B key.

I wish you didnt have to scroll through the gigantic list of tiles... it'd be nicer if you could pick from a list with thumbnails.

How do i delete objects btw? right click wont work.

For deleting objects, press shift and select an object. Then press delete or right click.
For deleting moving objects, press shift and drag the mouse in the general area of the moving object.

I'm kinda confused at how the editor is really any different from dev mode aside from having stuff around the screen... doesn't seem any easier to me. There's still going to be a million "editor help" threads (which is awesome since it's all been covered already).

At the moment, the only to relieve the Spud-iness (There weren't enough Spud jokes about Potato Boy! ) of Potato Boy is to play the Super Potato Boy level pack, where you can "Data issued teases due to kid hair aroma" all over again.

As for more Potato-themed levels... there will probably be tons when the full level editor is released anyway.

Well, there is a number of features that are clearer (most objects have now been clearly labeled instead of all having unclear labels to set up properties) and you don't have to remember as many keyboard shortcuts.

With that said, the level editor still shares many glitches that were common in devmode (and adds a few additional glitches to boot) and it still doesn't explain the basic functions of the editor (such as deleting/resizing/rotating/flipping/whatevering objects, using the camera, copy/pasting, filling, creating the "levels" folder and so on) so it's still fairly unintuitive to use. To me, it's the biggest failure of the editor; you have to know a lot of stuff beforehand so that you can use it.
