Found some more minor glitches.

- In lighting mode, the rotation angle constantly increases
- Pushing Ctrl+L to load a level will also switch to lighting mode and insert a L in the filename box (seem to only happen upon initial loading, going to any editing mode upon loading prevents this)
- Checking the properties of an object will cause the filename box in load/save to turn to numbers (the number shown is the one displayed in what was the "Start time" field of the last object checked out)
- Character icon on the bottom of the screen doesn't show which character is selected

Crap, is the "Alpha" level editor not working for anyone?

This is the error I always get when I enter the -devmode command:

Could anyone give me tips on how to fix it? I really hope so, because I haven't encountered anyone else with the same issue as me.

Okay, I've never used devmode, I was putting off using it because I didn't wanna bother with it if an editor was coming out. I don't see anyone else complaining about this, so it must be the same as devmode, but...

How do you scale/rotate stuff?
How do you edit properties? The button isn't working.
How do you delete objects?
How do you set the level edges?

Hold ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel to make objects larger. Space and scroll to rotate.

Select the object and press F8. F6 for light properties, and F2 for layer colors.

Select them (you must be in the right layer, too. And have the right type selected. Like Object for Saws, and animals for animals).

Level borders are set when you start the level. Make a new level to make it bigger/smaller. Also, Press C to enter camera mode, and Shift-Left Click to drag around the camera Limits.

Thank you. I can't select things though. It works when I right click on lights, but objects just don't seem to get selected.

EDIT: Never mind, I found out that holding shift and clicking selects. Thanks for your help, though.

You have to hold SHIFT and left-click in order to select objects.

While the SHIFT button is being held, you can also hold the left-mouse button and drag the mouse around in order to select multiple objects.

You have to create a "Levels" folder in your folder where Super Meat Boy is installed.

IMPORTANT INFO ON HOW TO PREVENT F1 BUG

After checking it out at bit, I think I found out the source of the problem when it comes to F1 malfunctioning after beating the level. To help preventing that glitch, you have to press F1 to return to the editor BEFORE BANDAGE GIRL DISAPPEARS. As long as the "Dr.Fetus kidnaps Bandage Girl" animation isn't finished, you can still return to the editor. But once that Bandage Girl has vanished from the level, you're trapped and you'll have to close the game and lose any unsaved progress you had.

Any chance you can add this to the OP, Nova?

Good to know, thanks man.  Now to get started on my Gary Busey level "Buseyism"!  Hopefully, I'll have enough time to get a rough prototype outlined before work tomorrow.

- A light will still automatically get placed when you change out of lighting mode. Just as it did in dev mode.

- Appearing/disappearing blocks are still buggy upon playing a level for the first time. Dying fixes this problem.
