Hey guys, I love the game.  I hope you put a frame rate cap into it.  The game is unplayable on certain stages.  The shooting saws fire too fast, the swinging saws swing too fast, and Dr. Fetus just runs straight to the end of his stage, ignoring all saws in his path.

I'm running at 120 FPS with 2x GTX 480s and a 120hz monitor.  I've found workarounds like running my monitor in 60hz mode, disabling SLI, Enabling/Disabling VSync and running in windowed mode.  Occasionally none of these things work and I have to run FRAPs to make it run slower.

This also brings up the point that people running under 60 frames per second get an advantage as well, the saws have much bigger windows to be able to finish stages faster.

I hope you guys find a way to stop basing your timings on FPS.

I made a few FRAPs videos to demonstrate it.

I would also like to have a built-in framerate limiter. I'm one of the last few weirdos who still uses a CRT and because the maximum refresh rate is 85Hz, that means the game will run at 85 FPS. My guess is that Super Meat Boy is designed to run at 60 FPS maximum because I get the same bugs as others mentioned, especially the infamous Dr Fetus problem.

An easy although not very elegant workaround is to stop forcing maximum refresh rate, in order to get 60Hz/60 FPS, but this gives me a headache after 5 minutes of playtime. I'd be very grateful if there was a way to lock the framerate to the intended setting even if it seems that people who need it are a minority. Else I'd appreciate suggestions on how to easily limit the FPS in that game.

Yeah, I need 60fps limit too. I have a big problem in level 5-5x, the first bridge dissapearing faster than meat boy is able to run, so I allways fall down. :(
