My fit of rage has to come where I was playing an exceptionally difficult level (I can't remember which one) I was one jump away from bandage girl and the game crashed.

I'm waiting for the portal and custom level sets like "the return of the Kid"... So, I believe the ultimate rage is yet to be seen.

The main levels are so well balanced that I've rarely felt any rage. SMB forces you to become humble and patient, otherwise you'd probably end up throwing the controller/keyboard against the wall and permanently switching to another game.

strangely enough, i hardly ever really rage, i'm not someone to master the levels in 2 or 3 tries, but i REALLY enjoy figuring them out.

the kid warp zone took me 3 attempts (first 2 were quit after 2 hours, each - never getting past level 1 on 2 subsequent nights, then 1 week of not ever looking at the warp zone).

3rd attempt..nearly 3 hours for the first one, around 1 hour for the other two. level 2 of that warp zone's a REAL bitch cuz it lulls you into thinking "oh, that's gonna be easy, just walk from one side to the other...."
na-ah :D

but after about 4 hours i was SOOOO happy to finally get the kid. wish i could have a replay of my 3 hour run in the first level  

skyscraper has been a bitch! i've never managed to get past the first level, but i haven't really gone OCD on it yet :D (like with the kid) plus: as opposed to the Kid warpzone, you only have 3 lives PER level

and the second bandage in  the Tunnel vision warp zone...man...frustrating :D
but i've never really raged...more like Zen'd :D
