Yo sup,

Basically, when i had eyefinity and i set the resoloution to 5040 x 1050, the game just gave me a black screen. I would have to manually edit the resolution to get it working again.

Other games work fine, and this one would be epic aswell xD

I think the game can't handle 5040x1050.
Also, what the fuck is that resolution really ?

Hi, i have the same problem but i changed the setting to 1260&800 ( or around that. i know that it´s the last one with 1260, after that it would change to 1024.) For some options it was enough to start the game again but now the screen stays black.
Is there a way to change the options without reinstalling the game? Already got to world 4 ( the 5th time. This sh*t always happens to me. I have to change the options because it woud lagg otherwise) and don´t want to play everything again

You can copy your savefile, reinstall the game, change the resolution and then paste your savefile.

I had this issue as well trying 7680x1600, I haven't found a way to get it to work but I did find that removing the following file while the game isnt running forces the game has to generate a new one next time it starts which allows you to get back into the game without any reinstalls or anything:

\Steam\steamapps\common\super meat boy\UserData\Reg0.dat
