When I make a key, it just falls down. There are a few levels in the game where the keys are hanging from poles or something, how do you do that?

Only the first 5 keys will fall. Place some hidden keys in your level so they fall, then place your key.

Also, You can make a little box in a wall, place the keys, then put blocks over it on layer 3 or so.

Put a waypoint over your key, this will allow it to float in midair.

Using additional keys isn't as efficient of an idea because you can't control which keys will fall. Saving/loading the map may change which keys will be affected by gravity and not.

I tried doing the waypoint before, and when I touched the key it spammed the noise and the key stayed there.

You probably were unwillingly adding more keys. Waypoint mode is very buggy for the time being and occasionally will refuse to work correctly.

To ensure your waypoint is put correctly, put it away from your key to see if you're placing a waypoint and not a key (It'll have a red rectangle around it and there'll be a yellow line linking to it). Once you got it to work, move your waypoint over your key and you should be set.

Just to make sure, set up a time value for the waypoint you set up, too.

Waypoint doesn't even WORK for me.

BTW, do you still need those fix files from Devmode?

I'm actually not sure if you need those fixes. It can't hurt to try and install them. Have you been hitting G for waypoint mode?

Yes, does nothing with a selected obstacle.
