Hi all,

Starting last night I haven't been able to start Super Meat Boy on my PC (Steam version). Whenever I try I just see Steam's "Preparing to launch Super Meat Boy screen" for half a second, then a quick view of an empty command-prompt-type window, and then nothing-- no Meat Boy, no error message. For a week or so before this started I was playing the game just fine-- I had occasional crashes (with a message that Team Meat was sent a "mini-dump (heh)"), and some slowdown due to my shitty computer, but it would always start up just fine.

Another weird thing-- last night it seemed as though my total hours played as reported on Steam increased even though the game didn't actually launch. So it seems that Steam thought that it was running? I'm not sure about this because it doesn't seem to be increasing today even though I tried it again.

Anyone know what's going on here? I need my Meat fix!

Hmm... I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it works fine now. Go figure. I should have tried this earlier I guess but I only found out from these boards how to back up my save files.
