You download the game translated on english and you play it. End. Also, I'm a fucking huge fan of Cave Story, I play mods of Cave Story, I make mods of Cave Story, I fap on- no wait. |

I loved this and plan to do a 3 (the minimum right?) HP run this summer. I might put it on Youtube for giggles.
Also, I had a talk with a few people and we all agreed that it's really, REALLY unlikely that someone finds the 'good' ending the first time playing it. That does give it replay value, though. Heh.

You can hack the game to make it 1HP, I say that because some foes only take you 1 or 2 HP I belive. |

^Interesting. I remember one of the bosses spawning little things that do 2 HP damage. Might be the Core in the water area, not sure.

Hey maru could you point me towards some of your favorite mods for it? I've been wanting to play Cave Story again but not necessarily just another play through. Like I wanted to find secrets or do something weird, but a mod would be even better!

One of my favorite so far is the unofficial Cave Story sequel, only with new maps, new story, but the same chars. And it's like 3 times hardr than the original Cave Story. There's also The Mimiga Army, where you're a Mimiga working on the plantations, and you are sent on Earth for some reason I don't want to spoil. For the WIP mods there are King: Strife and Sacrifice, a very cool mod where you're King and you're playing when all of the Mimigas are being killed by the Doctor, this mod use a lot of Hex Edit and thus, have new weapons. (Plus it use the "Wii patch" so you have graphics like the one from the Wii version.) Another of my favorites but still a WIP is WTF Story, the most random mod you'll ever play, you don't know who you are, where you are, and what you're supposed to do, but you still fight bosses like a Killer Tetris or the Robot Balrog Bros.
