Well, this a forum of a very hard and "neard/hardcore" game. If you get here, its because you like the game enough to register and poster on the forum. I think that someone posting here with no idea what an easter egg is... well, very strange to me. If someone doesnt know what it is, he should google or ask here. But you now, dont go too much offtopic and a little drama for this shit. I think that the best easter egg was from Donkey Kong Country/Land 2. Nintendo bugging that Sonic and Earthworm Jim arent heroes, just trash. Very funny, and also... now you can see it and remember the old good days from the old school games... very nostalgic, who would say in that days that Sonic and Mario, rivals to death, will be in a game like best friends ever? The Mario and the Sonic saga fits very good. I wish how awesome would be a masterpiece game with Sonic and Mario in a platform and serious game... This stuff is very funny, nostalgic and emotive at the same time...

When I said 'WE all know what easter eggs are' I was referring to people.
So people who aren't familiar with easter eggs are what? Robots, Animals? Bobo- The Space Monkeys`? They are lower forms of life. Well, this a forum of a very hard and "neard/hardcore" game. We all know what easter eggs are. Go die.
Anyway, my favorite is probably the Hitler room in a certain L4D Map.
Take it easy man, he was just informing people if anyone didnt know, no reason to get rude. Once you didnt knew it either, even though it might be long time ago... Jeez.

My new favorite easter egg is in Portal 2 when Final Boss try to make you come back after The Part Where He Kills You.
If you actually come back he will tell you some things like "COuld you please jump in that pit ? Down there are your parents ! And uh, a triple Portal device ! And ... a special new suit made in France ! Oh and ther's also a lot of men, really pretty men that didn't had a chance for a long time now."

That isn't really an easter egg, but I'll let it slide because that is one of the funniest parts in an already hilarious game.

An easter egg is something referencing another thing and that's hidden right ?
It references France and it's hidden behind you.

No. A virtual Easter egg is an intentional hidden message, in-joke or feature in a video game. Nintendo museam = easter egg Kill yourself Wheatley = clever writing

It is in fact hidden. Not really. I mean, there's an achievement for it. Sure, the achievement description is kinda vague but there are only so many pits in the game, you're bound to find it eventually. Something like the singing turrets, though, you might not find unless someone tells you about it.

I no longer visit these forums due to lack of interest in the community and to an extent, the game itself.

It's still hidden, I mean, who really came back to Final Boss when he told you to in their 1st walkthrough ?
