I have two small but incredibly interesting additions to your list. The first one is Nikujin.It's difficult to explain what Nikujin truly is, but it's a tiny fast-paced platformer game with brilliant music and levels that get very difficult. Perfect for an SMB forum. The second one is Bunny Must Die: a hilariously hectic, unique and quite difficult indie Metroidvania game with time hax and other interesting gimmicks. As the title implies, you WILL die a lot. Unfortunately, it's made in Japanese only, but you can patch it if you use the translation patch. N  I loved N. It's the first indie game I fell in love with. It's really annoying though that meat boy gets so much flack for being simmilar to N, they really are way different. It's like if N were Goldeneye, then Meat boy is Halo. Or any other critically acclaimed FPS you can think of, that is not like goldeneye. |

Hydra Castle Labyrinth is a ridiculously cute Castlevania style game, aka lots of dungeon-exploring and item-finding goodness. Even though it's all in Japanese, this shouldn't be a problem.
