Get Your Meat On!

So the Internet has been abuzz with rumors and discussion regarding Nintendo's new upcoming console, codenamed Project Cafe. It's supposed to be more powerful than the 360 and yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah...
Why I bring it up is because I still feel butthurt that I can't enjoy beat my Meat on my Wii. This is of no fault of Team Meat, but of Nintendo's incompetence for a good online operation. It is indeed a shame.
But since Project Cafe is supposed to be one hell of a console (in comparison to the Wii anyways), I can't help but feel hope once more for the possibility to enjoy mah meat on a console that I will no doubt get.
Nintendo hast beheld the power of the meat! Resistance is futile! There's no frakking way they'd set up such stupid limitations again! I do believe that Team Meat will have a window of opportunity this time to bring the Meat to a Nintendo console...but will they? That, detective, is the right question.

Project Cafe will be awesome, can't wait for E3!
I'd love to see a "Super Meat Boy Over 9000 Edition" hit Project Cafe at retail or through DLC. Full 1080p, all types of new features. etc. But considering the circumstances with the Steam version being gimped, I'm not liking the chances of a 100% working SMB on Cafe by launch...

Can't say I'm too excited about it. I heard the controller has a stupid gimmick to it, probably a touchscreen. I have no good experiences with touchscreens and will probably always whine about them in games being unresponsive. Because they are. Buttons before styluses, live it. If you believe otherwise, then I suggest you pick up a DS and a copy of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. That game will make you hate touchscreens like no other.

Dude, this isn't a thread to discuss Project Cafe, but to discuss the possibility of Super Meat Boy on Nintendo's next console.

No, it's a thread for discussin Project Cafe. We already have a thread for what Team Meat will do with the game or new games on future consoles, Nintendo or otherwise. http://supermeatboy.com/forum/index.php/topic,224.0.htmlJust tacking Meat Boy onto the OP doesn't mean the thread should be posted in Meat Talk. This 'Project Cafe' better not use friend codes. That's pretty much the only thing that can stop me from enjoying it until we know more about it.

It will be just another Nintendo Console to make new titles of popular Nintendo Franchises so "not interested at all".

LOL YOU GUYS ARE ACTUALLY RETARDED.
If Super Meat Boy will be released of Project Cafe it'll just delay the level editor, once again.

Dude, this isn't a thread to discuss Project Cafe, but to discuss the possibility of Super Meat Boy on Nintendo's next console. Maybe you fail to see the relevance, but I was saying that Project Café is probably not suitable for Super Meat Boy because a) there's too much speculation about it, ergo it's impossible to develop anything for it for the coming months b) the controller will most likely not have a conventional shape or function, which makes playing SMB inconvenient.

No, it's a thread for discussin Project Cafe. We already have a thread for what Team Meat will do with the game or new games on future consoles, Nintendo or otherwise.
So that means you can hijack my thread? You could always merge this with that thread. I didn't know any better. Once again, this thread isn't to complain about Project Cafe (or praise it). But to discuss the possibilities of Super Meat Boy coming out for it. Kindly respect the wishes of the thread starter or fuck off. Maybe you fail to see the relevance, I did, because you failed to mention the relevance in your own post. but I was saying that Project Café is probably not suitable for Super Meat Boy because a) there's too much speculation about it, ergo it's impossible to develop anything for it for the coming months That's not a reason at all. In fact, Team Meat could take advantage of this and sell a lot. b) the controller will most likely not have a conventional shape or function, which makes playing SMB inconvenient. I highly doubt the controller will be a reason. And if so, I hear the console will be compatible with the Wii remote, which rocks. Playing SMB with the Wiimote is awesome.

Yeah, it's easier to throw against a wall, not more.

Nobody knows anything about the cafe gamepad and you can claim this? What the hell? It has 0% sense. Also, yeah, playing with Wiimote is awesome. I didnt understand how to use it on the Pc version, but there's a way to use it. Google it if anyone is interested.

Maybe you don't, but surprisingly your opinion doesn't appear to represent everyone. Have a read, sir. I'd like to direct your attention to this specific part: Nintendo executives have said that they would not create a new gaming console until they had an idea for it that would distinguish the device from the competition, just as the Wii Remote set the Wii apart from the 360 and PS3. The new machine's Nintendo difference seems to center on the console's unusual screen-based controller—an amalgam of traditional twin-stick controller and touchscreen tablet (à la Apple's iPad)—that will complement the console's support for Wii-style motion controllers.

If I can play Super Meat Boy on my Super Crappy USB controller, I doubt anything Nintendo can cook up will be worse.
