The reverse order upload worked just fine. Thanks!

I had 13, then 14 levels. Last time I tried, it sent you guys a minidump. Hopefully it will help!

It is possible to change the order of the levels in a chapter once it's created? I'd like to upload the current version of the chapter I have, but the difficulty curve has not yet been created as I'm waiting for all 20 levels to be made before establishing any kind of order and I know the last levels I'll make will be easier than most of the other levels I've made yet.

So, am I better off waiting for the entire thing to be done before pushing the upload and create buttons or no?

from what I understand, as soon as a level/chapter is on super meat world, it can't be changed, but you can reupload it with the changes if you really want

I've uploaded 5 levels, I could only add 2 or 3 levels before it crashed.

Probably already posted, but when playing super meat world levels, the level title that appears at the top when you start is different from the actual level title. The par time also varies.

I also recently made a level with a lot of background objects ("Starport" if anyone wants to play it). I got to around 384 objects in the level. Around there, I started to lag when trying to place another object which would prevent the object from being placed.

When you play a chapter, then go back to playing random levels off the portal, the music won't change back to "Meat Spin". It will stay the same as whatever music the chapter used.

PS: How am I supposed to vote? When I beat a level it either shows a single star or it shows a black bar that says "Skip Vote". I'm running SMB 1280 x 720 in a window.

hit left or right to vote.

music of the chapter will always stay the same through teh chapter regardless of the music that plays in the single level.

trying to pinpoint the chapter crash.. i cant seem to get it to crash on my pcs.. any more input you guys can give in this would be very helpful. are you saing that it only happens if you do them in order from 1-20 but not backwards?

also just because the max objects is 400 doesnt mean you should max it out :) i think i only have one level in the whole game that is maxed out. try and stay in the 200 range.

It happens to my when going from 1-20. Haven't tried backwards, though. Will do so.

I was trying to upload The Lime Key as a chapter... but I can't get more than 1 level in without crashing. I tried starting at 1 and 20 and 5 just for the hell of it... but it just hangs for a good 2 minutes after I add anything to a chapter. After that time I just get a mini-dump. Lammmeeee.

I'm sure this'll be a non-issue for about 99.9% of the people, but if you haven't played Super Meat Boy on your computer yet, the Level Editor won't launch. Steam just tells you that it's going to launch, and then nothing happens. No error messages, no anything. However, once you run it once, the level editor runs fine. It'd be cool if it displayed an error message or something for people who haven't run it.

Now let me explain why I haven't run it. I own SMB for both the Xbox 360 and the PC. I beat it on the 360, and got really far on my computer. My computer decided to stop booting one day, so I had to reformat. I forgot to back up my SMB game save before formatting, so I haven't played it much since I know playing it would involve me starting over from scratch. Now that there's a reason to play it that outweighs starting over from scratch, I'll start playing it again. Thanks for the level editor, can't wait to start making some good(and by that I mean AWFUL) levels. ^_^

Now it just hangs permanently after opening the chapter upload box. I managed to get 2 levels in this time... but I did it really fast. I suppose I have about 5 seconds from opening the dialog box to a permanent hang (and "not responding" status). Is that a memory leak? I'm no programmer though, so I could be totally wrong.

I'm a bit curious, why is there a 5 level requirement for creating chapters? I know that it would be lame to have really short chapters in the Portal, but I remember before the question was brought up about whether or not we could create warp zones as well and Edmund replied that we could just create a 3 level chapter instead. I'm just curious about where that idea went

the chapter bug is something we are having trouble nailing down, try adding levels backwards like peopel have mentioned on here and tell us if it helps.

the most common issues is adding level 3 to the chapter menu, but this isnt something tommy or i can reproduce on our pcs so we are working a bit blind. we hope to nail down the issue and fix it this week but the more info all of yo can give on this the better.

ive only gotten it to crash once in the chapter maker but it was just rapidly placing levels 1-20 then deleting.. i couldn't get it to do it again after that.

is it always consistent for you guys? like does it always crash on level #X or is it a specific level that is crashing it? anything specific would be helpful so i cant test and see if its a character or tileset that might be making it crash.
