since last update, after finishing any lvl, when I skip the replay, game freezes during a seconds and then goes to next lvl.

that never happened to me before. any ideas?

also I'm experiencing some crashes on game startup :S (not dumps, windows crashings)

it seems that the problem is not in our computers

Same. New problem, no setting I've tried makes any difference.

XP SP3
AMD Athlon 3500+ @2.21 GHz
3 GB RAM
Radeon HD 5750

Especially annoying cause I'm trying to record a single-segment speedrun and it adds 20-30 seconds to the overall time.

I heard if you put -lowdetail it might work...
Play as Windowed goes a little faster...

I do both already, doesn't help. This is a new problem that was introduced in the last update.

Played a bit more today to see, seems like it lags more on shorter levels, I guess it's taking longer to load the next level in sequence than it used to. Some of the longer ones in Chapter 2 seemed to load at regular speed, but you can really see the difference in early Chapter 1.
