Some might remember the real-actor teaser that appeared out of nowhere almost half a year ago and was set in the Half-Life (2) world.

Well, the short-film is now online and I have to say that it is indeed well done, especially considering the budget they had at their disposal; there are a couple of things that put me off (the zombies and one of the fight scenes) but I take them for what they are, action scenes in an action movie, even more so considering that the team stated that "We took artistic freedoms and liberties" which is totally understandable.

Also, the ending has a double twist and the movie has a couple of nicely planted references.

You can watch the film here.

I like how the main guy went from behind a skid with 6+ combines shooting at him and then into a a wide open area with no one shooting at him... Did he down them all with a pistol?

Talking about weapons, why do they never pick up the weapons after they've killed a soldier? It's right there. All they have to do it walk right to the soldier and it will automatically be picked up
