(am I the only Nintendo fan in this forum?)
I used to love Nintendo but the Wii didn't do it for me this generation. The 3DS looks sub-par to me, I hate the 3D gimmick in movies, and will likely say the same about games. The graphics aren't very far above what the DS does right now, either. I'm really looking forward to see what Sony will do with the PSP2.

My problem with Nintendo is they make really high quality games, but for whatever reason they refuse to make nice consoles. Like honestly? The Wii controller is one of the worst designs in a loooong time. All good games on the Wii are good despite the god awful controls, not because of them. I totally disagree with your stance on the 3DS though. It seems like handhelds is all Nintendo can do nowadays. It looks so so so much better than the DS graphically, and its only going to improve as people discover how to push its limits as it ages. One thing that you need to keep in mind is that although it is capable of producing equal, or at least pretty damn close, graphics as the Gamecube Nintendo still opted to release with a handful of N64 remakes, which may be whats making you think DS. I must admit that 3D is dumb though. I really don't see it adding much to the gameplay.

The Wii is stupid compared to classic design, but the angle they were going for wasn't classic, and it obviously worked given the success of casual gaming and as such, the Wii. While games for the console haven't stood the test of time Nintendo were right to invest in motion gaming from the get go, something Microsoft and Sony are only JUST getting into, over 4 years later. I am by no means a Nintendo fan. I enjoy one or two of their games, but I am an Xbox 360 gamer.

Most anticipated for 2011? Obvious game is obvious.
Brink!
Fuck yeah, parkour FPS action with major guns and shooting noobs and healing team mates and whatever other shit that game involves. I preordered it months ago because I'm a boss.
Also, TESV. It's coming out 11/11/11 11:11:11:11, right? ohgod, skyrim. Too bad nords are ugly people. Maybe the graphics will make up for it.
Morrowind = greatest game ever Too bad Oblivion made the series look bad.

Diablo III Duke Nukem Forever I wonder if those will be even released in 2011. Hmm, I don't have anything else on my list except for SMB's level editor at the moment. Maybe I need to start reading news about upcoming games a bit more.

I don't buy games that cost more than $10 and Minecraft is $20 and rising.
