Hey there fellow meat boy players

I have a question about the warp zones. Are those being timed? In like, do they count in the leaderboards?

If yes, do they count as a set, or does the time reset everytime you die?

Thanks in advance, greetings!

Nope, they do not count in leader boards. Although, they do count to your overall progress.

Yes, they do count and they affect your overall time and ranking on the leaderboard. Try it out and you'll see

I didn't try that one out, but I too presume same as you do    Meat Boy

Really try it out on some easy warp zone, remember your global score, restart the game, and then see if your global score has changed...we have a few member here on this forum that have a glitch with that, so let's see how it works for you

Skycraper is the only thing left for me to 100% the game.

So I hope when I redo all the other Warp Zones, my Skycraper time and my new Warp Zone times will compensate each other :P

Looks like I'm one of those people who won't be able to go for leaderboard times because of the warp zone glitch. Oh well, back to Brimstone Boy I guess.

I figured this out yesterday. I spent all today improving my warp zone times and easily shaved off 240 seconds, I shit a brick.

Edit: This has happened twice and is seriously starting to piss me off.

Whenever I down all my warp zone times, shut the game off - and reload. It resets them all, what the fuck? I was down to 2558 seconds. Now I am back to 2750 and change.

Me and SuperTofuBoy thoroughly tested this awhile ago on the steam version.  The results were strange to say the least.  Think of the times like triggers flipped to on or off.  The actual time spent matters NONE, however, the clear matters.  The clear will either flip that trigger to a higher time or a lower time.  Clear a warp, glitch or character warp and see how your time changes.  It will either go up exact seconds or down exact seconds.  If you clear the same stage again, it will do the opposite.  So if it went up say 3 seconds exactly, it will go down 3 seconds exactly and vice-versa endlessly.  This is a weird bug to say the least.  The glitch levels had the highest variance in seconds between individual clears for those truly anal about the leaderboards.

I realize this won't make sense to some people, but it's how it works.  Test it and see if you don't believe me.
