New Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqaysjKcw-gSo I'm a huge fan of Demon's Souls, I've beaten it multiple times and it's my favorite RPG this gen. From what I can tell Dark Souls is cranking everything good about Demon's Souls up to 100. If Zelda SS ends up underwhelming (I desperately hope not, it's my most anticipated game of 2011) then Dark Souls will probably be my GOTY 2011. Although LA Noire is looking great too... |

So has anybody else here played this? Just started my 4th playthrough and it's pretty much all I've been playing for a while, lots of PvP too. Was my 2011 GOTY.

For what it's worth I have to say DS was one of my favs of all time. I finished it 2 1/2 times and 100%'d all the achievements on 360. I can't wait to start over again on PC.  |

Wait, it's coming to PC in AUGUST? AW YEAH. And so far since I've had windows 7 i haven't had trouble with GFWL. I hate it just because of past experiences and I always will, but at least it works fine now. That CynicalBrit guy or whatever was talking about how they had to use GFWL because the netcode would take too long to program so it would cost too much in man hours. I doubt next game they would use GFWL, because it HOPEFULLY won't just be a console game they decide to port to PC.

There will almost surely be user-made patches to circumvent the 720p/30fps lock. But yeah this suck.  |

I love From Software, I recently bought the DLC for the PS3 version of Dark Souls (I beat Demon's Souls over 4 times, and Dark Souls once) and can't access it until I kill the Four Kings on NG+. It's damn hard, but I love that they make you work to access it.
