Probably a long shot since this isn't a huge forum but I'm throwing a game party this weekend.  figured I'd check if any SMB players were near me and wanted to come out.  we can definitely play some SMB along with a ton of other stuff.  I have 10 xbox 360s on 10 tvs.  also have 10 arcade games, wii, ps3.  2 MK9 fightsticks, foosball, classics, you name it.  PM me for details if you want to come out.

I just ask that you and anyone you bring is over 21 as there will be beer.

I admire your bravery! Inviting total strangers to your house filled with fragile and expensive elctronics, and asking them to bring beer!

...but from the pics and your setup, it seems you're reasonably loaded, so I'm sure could cover a few broken TVs. Good luck with the party!

there is a thin line between bravery and stupidity and that's where I tend to tread.

I've been pretty lucky so far, not even a spilled beer in the past few parties.

my meatboy idea for the party is a team relay.  I'll split everyone into two groups and try to balance it a bit, have the game on 2 tvs next to eachother, then we'll race through a world.  if you die 5 times or beat a level you have to pass the controller.

I live in VA Beach, and I'd come if I didn't have my 9 month old niece staying with us.  Unfortunately with baby's around there's not much time for partying...

But anyway, hope your party is epic and legendary!  Can't wait to get back into the groove myself.

turnout was pretty good.  the meat relay was interesting.  I kind of wish the game had some more easy worlds though because world 1 light/dark and world 2 light is really all you can run with people having their first meat experience.  even then it got too tough and we had 1 dropout.  but overall it worked pretty well.  we just rotated after 5 deaths or beating a level.

other games we ran.  gears 2, project gotham 3 and 4, bionic commando, splinter cell double agent, left 4 dead 2.
