Terraria seems like 2D Minecraft, I want it too.. It looks very amusing with the magic and stuff but the building looks lame

This game is really different from Minecraft, with magic and a fucking lot deeper caves, more mobs and even bosses.
Oh and also when you build a second house in solo, a NPC comes live in it.

Terraria is certanly an awesome game. A fine example of "If your going to "copy" the mechanics of minecraft (Mining, building and crafting), do it RIGHT", something terraria does. If you like minecraft, go get this game now... Just do it, you will have fun.

I only want to say that Terraria in fact copy the machanics of Minecraft, but only the mechanics, that's not copying the entire game.
Super Meat Boy copy the mechanics of Super Mario Bros, but that's not the same game !

We can put Minecraft and Terraria like this....
Adventure ---------- Terraria > Minecraft
Building ---------- Minecraft > Terraria
Fun game.

I actually prefer building in Terraria, the small blocks make for more precision.
