hi all,

just watched an interestind video somebody posted on this forum of four players racing each other where edmund joined in on the skype call -

at 37 minutes in, edmund  (or is it edmond?) mentioned that the level just completed by the player 'Brooks' (6-2 schism)has a shortcut that allows you to skip straight to the key by falling off the screen and landing on a small piece of something. I've been trying it and keep dying when i walk off screen. Does anybody else know of this or tried it?

the fastest it has been completed on the leaderboards (xbla)is over 21 seconds so it appears nobody has done it on xbox yet.

Hey, thanks for checkin' out the video I posted here. 

I was trying to do the same thing the other day and I couldn't get it either. I know there IS a possible shortcut on the Expert Remix version of the level (Speck) that was released on Teh Internets and SMW, as this video shows: (6-2 remix level starts at the 5:00 mark)

Not sure if maybe that was the shortcut Edmund was referring to, but yeah... I've never been able to find any shortcuts for 6-2.

that's gotta be the same thing, i notice from your link there though on the edge (above the key) there is a little lip jutting up that would stop you from walking over the edge yet when you continue walking right on schism you die so it musn't be there or you die before you get to it... so i guess it's impossible - especially since nobody's done it yet!
