As the title says. Making a snow/ice chapter, and I want the tiles Meat Boy walks on to be white. Only problem is, changing that means Meat Boy also becomes white. Is there any way for this not to happen? If there isn't, this should really be something that's implemented in the future (as well as being able to change the colour of individual objects instead of a whole layer of objects).

You can't. Tiles that interact with Meat Boy can only be put on the active layer so you have to change Meat Boy's color alongside with the tiles.

Considering the developers will be issuing one last patch for the game, your suggestion will most likely never be implemented.

Well I found a way around it (to an extent). Placing regular coloured tiles on layer 4 (so Meat Boy remains the same colour) then placing white tiles (or whatever colour wanted) on layer 2 over the layer 4 tiles. This doesn't seem to work for crumbling blocks and the meat goo that Meat Boy leaves when he walks doesn't show properly, but it's the best alternative I can find.
