So... will you watch it? I will go on a chat with some friends for the conferences. Can't wait, it will be awesome.

Also... speaking about Konami's, You can watch it here and there's a countdown.

We should get on the SMB irc channel to watch the conferences.

I managed to load it once and then it timed out. Maybe the server can't handle all the viewers?
Anyway, thanks for the link, I'll check back in a bit. =D

Reposting this from elsewhere, E3 will be awesome!!!

Project Cafe rumor - System won't be 'another Dreamcast' in terms of power

This information supposedly comes from a close 3rd party contact...

"Nintendo's new machine is powerful and though I hate to bash, it won't be another Dreamcast. This will be the PS2 of its generation."

Project Cafe rumor - Major third party announcements at Nintendo's press conference

The following comment comes from Shane Satterfield...

"I have kind of heard some things through the grapevine... there are going to be some big third-party announcements for Nintendo's new console at the show, there's no doubt about that."

I don't get the need for a huge-ass screen. Then you don't really need a console + tv anymore, right? Besides, it's quite annoying to watch 2 screens simultaneously.

I get the feeling now that it'll be used a lot for streaming two different games (to a TV and to the controller).  So if someone is already using the TV, or already playing a game you can use the controller as another TV basically.  Of course I assume there are lots of multiplayer and online feature ideas it will be used for as well.

And of course the screen will be used for all sorts of things for Cafe games...maybe even a awesome level editor, touchscreen and all!!!

I'd rather have a VMU-style use, or a persistent menu.

Oh shit this might be a good idea.

Yeah I've heard the menu screen idea before, but on the DS, one screen is often used for this purpose. The screen is like 2 inches big and works fine. Why do we want a 6 or 7" menu? O_o

Multitasking. Like having an internet tab so you don't have thos annoying messages like "your douche friend is online".Or maybe a game where there is no HUD, it is on the 2nd screen. I can see this being a great idea. And I can picture Nintendo fucking it up badly.

A screen to play minigames during loading times, or during no respawn deathmatch if you fail. An app store would be too far out of hand. No ads. Internet. iPad style keyboard for easy typing during games. Built in mic. You could set options easily. QTEs. can you think of any more?
