Hi there, sorry if the questions was there at once. So I have a Youtube channel and I would like to make a "lets play" of super meat boy. Am I allowed to do so? And am I also allowed if I am youtube partner, that means I would make money with advertesing. Thanks for your reply! Daniel  ps.: sorry for the english, hope you can guess what I am talking about  |

There is also hundreds of the people that has SMB lets plays that is succesful, so i dont see why it should be a bad idea? |

Yes you may! There is many people like ZackScottGames, Nothernlion etc. that makes SMB Lets Plays and has partnership, and i know that Team Meat actually apreciate them, because it is good adversiment for the game  I dont know if you can get partnership if you just record while playing, i think that you also have to make commentating  |

Even though SMB may be an easy choice because it's a popular game, I can almost guarantee that doing an SMB LP will provide very boring and repetitive commentary and it will be very hard to stand out between all the other SMB LPs. You'd better pick a game that's not so well known, but that you're still somewhat good at, and show it to the masses. (they shouldn't be as obscure as the games on my channel, but hey, I didn't pick those myself, they were challenges >_< ) |

I tried to watch any of the Super Meat Boy LPs floating around Youtube and they made me physically ill. I guess if you want to see people being incompetent at games, talking about what they've eaten at lunch or hear them ramble about their anime collection and scream because they just died on the same obstacle 100 times, those videos would be good for you. This absence of good videos is what made me consider making a Super Meat Boy Let's Play, mainly in order to see a competent run of the game for a change and featuring commentary that won't require a lobotomy to enjoy, but then again there's the "this game has been LPed by over 1000 people upon launch day" aspect that would make it very redundant in the end. |

Not everything, just Let's Play. It's asinine. Why would anyone want to watch someone else play a video game, living vicariously through that person, when one could just--you know--PLAY THE GAME?
