Okay, I guess...
Super Meat Boy Bad Company 2 Bioshock 2 Mass Effect 2 Amnesia: The Dark Descent Darksiders
I almost don't want to count Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, or Darksiders because they're not at all original. Mass Effect 2 is nearly the same game as the first one. Darksiders is almost a blatant rip-off of the God of War series. Bioshock 2 is the easiest of those to count because it employs such great storytelling, much better than the first.
Also, Super Crate Box is cool.

I'd have to say my top 3 (fight the system) games of this year would have to be 3. Sam and Max Season 3 I found it to be a nice little set of adventure games. It's voice acting was excellent, and the dialogue was very well-written. It also has strong lovecraftian overtones in the later bits 2. Recettear (Despite it being as anime as all hell) The graphics of the game were absolutely adorable spritework. It has challenging dungeons in the non-shopkeeping bit(The dungeons are typically the bulk of the game when you're not going about selling your wares). 1. Pokemon Soul silver It's a remake of my favorite in the series. It's fairly long, has a nifty pedometer gimmick, and makes a good chunk of the newer 'mons able to be found without fiddling with trading and such.

I spent a lot of time playing games that weren't released this year. :/
But some favorites, in no particular order: Super Meat Boy Super Mario Galaxy 2 Bioshock 2 Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (for iPhone) Starcraft 2 Halo: Reach
And that's pretty much it. >.> Kinda lame list, but oh well.

Only bought Four non-generic 2010 titles:
1: Recettear -Its a "Huge Deal" for a Dojin game to hit 6 Digits in sales-
2: Super Meat Boy -Amazing title but as of late Tough as Nail games have been coming up so much lately-
3: Megaman Zero Collection -Quite glad it finally came out but my DS had one of its hinges break right before it game out and it a real pain to play it-
4: Pokemon SoulSilver -It broke one of my DS's Hinges- ^No Comment^

If you want me to be honest I wasn't all that impressed with the sacrifice.
In general Left 4 Dead doesn't have the same appeal as it once did.
TBH I preferred it when all people did was dash through No Mercy in like 15 minutes.

In no particular order
Super Meat Boy (For obvious reasons) Recettear (As a huge Harvest Moon nut, this game appealed to my likings) Donkey Kong Country Returns (Great game, shitty ass controls. Thank god for hax) Metroid Other M (I've never seen such a good game being railed on so hard by the entire world) Pokemon Heartgold (Because any time a Pokemon game is released it makes my top 10 lists) Pokemon Black Version (Imported. Can't understand a lick of Japanese...fuck yeah) Minecraft (I didn't get all that into it, but its kinda fun and I can't think of 10 games) Golden Sun Dark Dawn (Not as great as the original 2, but still a solid RPG) VVVVVV (I didn't realize this was 2010...I already beat the game over 10 times. Its fun) Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Because Mario games are always good)
Also Aquaria again

Yeah, it really doesn't but was still one of my faves of the year...there just wasn't anything else that was really good in my opinion.
