I was going back through chapter 5 to pick up some bandages and I just realized how much easier the levels are when you aren't going for an A+

Is it just me? Or does the game seem easier when you just take it slow.

I got through a few levels of the cotton alley single handedly rarely using the run button..

going slower helps.

The game is about meat parkour, not standing still

Iunno, I find never letting go of run, and getting through after 100 tries with a good score better than going slow and doing 20 tries for a bad score.

But that seems to be just me.

I was going back

It seems easier because you've played the rest of the game and you're better now.

Once you already have a good score though, why not take your time to get the more tedious things?

Super Meat Boy seems piss easy when you back-track. This feeling will disappear for a bit when The Kid "Teh Internets" chapter is released.

I always thought that all levels are much easier if you run through them without waiting or hasitation

Maybe some jumps would be easier if you take your time but I don't know about that, my finger pressed shift 99.9% of the time

I found World 6, The End, to be easier than most of Worlds 3-5 when going slow, and even some A+s. I was actually disappointed that it was substantially easier than Rapture

I keep the run button pressed most of the time too, but there are places that going slow really helps, like the Skyscraper. Plus, you keep getting better as you play (you have to, if you wanna go deeper in that game), so everything looks much easier when you go back.
