My Steam display name is 'courier' and I'm getting a crash whenever I click a level slot in the make chapter tool. Oddly enough it worked fine before (a month or two ago) but now it's crashy :(

"twitchfingernightmare" is the displayed name. (no quotation marks) I'm having the same bug, when I try to select the 4th level, the editor shuts down, and the error message says the mini-dump thing has been sent. Hope you can patch this soon!  Good luck with it!  TFN |

I once worked on a chapter called: Soulless!Chapter has been cancelled. Just making levels when I feel like it and have the time to do it. I cancelled the chapter due to lack of inspiration/time. Homework finally caught up to me. |

They should go to a bunch of neighbor's houses and test it on their computers. Get family, friends, whoever. Anyone live close to where Tommy lives? Give him your computer. Mail him your computer if you're not close.

yes, that would be a good idea, considering that most people seem to have it, it shouldnt be too hard finding a computer that has the error. or they could just remotely connect into a computer thats having the problem and see whats happening. its that easy...

I'm not sure if that would make sense... and I'm positive the first thing tommy would do with the laptop is keep it for himself, throw it out or send it back, and not aid us in any way.

And speaking of TeamViewer, I have an idea. Anyone here that can actually get the chapter uploader to work, upload my levels for me. I'll use TeamViewer to log in to Steam and you'll upload my chapter for me and anyone else who asks. If we could get maybe a Steam group like "SMB players that can upload chapters" this game would be much more enjoyable.

Hey guys,
I had an appointment with Tommy and we were gonna do some troubleshooting, but it was too late for him, he was just gonna go to bed, so I thought I'd do some on my own. I actually got my chapter up on SMW! It's not done yet, but it was just to test if I could get it to work. I was having the Chapter bug as well, you see. I tried some stuff out, and I got my chapter up! I mailed every step I took to Edmund, so he and Tommy can try to figure somthing out from that, and maybe come up with a solution for the bug! I personally think that, before you choose any levels at all, you have to scroll through some music, the numbers at the bottom of the chapter upload screen. Try it out and see if that works.

I tried to upload it again, and it worked again! Yay! If it doesn't work for you to choose the music first, try this:
Open the editor.
Create a new level (standard width-height) (8-Bit palette)
Create new chapter
Select the music
Work your way down from 20 to 1, instead of from 1 to 20.
Type name of chapter.
Upload.
This works for me nearly every time, hope that helps!
