Thought we should get a general thread about this.
Discuss any and all IT projects you've been working on.

Personally, I've had quite a lot of experience with Flash, Game Maker and Python over the past 7 years, trying to make random games and little programs that seemed useful at the time.
And I got into Visual Studio 2010 (for VB, C# and C++ mostly) a little bit today, and it works splendidly. The pre-filled files save so much time I usually waste looking up everything (I'm quite forgetful, sadly). Working on a bullet hell game now, if it ever becomes something decent I'll post screens.

Share your experiences!

Bullets hell games are a lot of fun to play (and to develop, I suppose).
If you don't know about that ressource already, SA667, I would recommend you to check http://www.shmup-dev.com/forum/ . It isn't so very active, but some topics/tutorials are definitely worth a read.
