Meh, I'm pretty pissed at the devs for consolizing it.

Duke Nukem is a PC series at heart. Shitty Console mechanics (two weapon select) don't belong on PC Series.

This is a worse insult to Duke Nukem than UT3 was to the UT series.

And yes I know that I'm not exactly old enough to have been a gamer when DN3D was 'hip', but I consider myself a fan of older games. (HL1, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Armed and Dangerous (GCK and AND are both great games that didn't get as much attention as they deserved.)) Let console-style games stay on consoles, and let PC-style games stay on PC's.

No love for Duke.

The game is shit. It's crappy mix of few oldschool ideas with the worst thigns which happened to the fpp in last few years. It's like CoD - running in the tunnel. Graphic looks like it was written at first Plystation, optimalisation is a joke, loadings last forever, gameplay sux, Duke isn't funny anymore, etc

For me it's 0/10. This game shouldn't be released.

Now, I don't mean this in a derogatory sense, but how old are you? Honest question, I'm not going to flame you with "OH DURR YOU'RE FIFTEEN GET OUT,".

I am 12 and what is this? Honestly, based on some video reviews, I can't agree more. It reminds me a lot of CoD1, without the cool feeling of fighting for what's right, because the main character is so unlikable.

So you weren't even old enough to play the first Playstation. Furthermore, you weren't actually alive for Duke Nukem 3D. In the end, this game is very flawed, but caters to die hard fans of Duke really well.
Being as young as you are, I'm not surprised you can't enjoy this game. Each to their own.

Unfortunately, this is where gaming has been going for a while. I believe they may of also did this for "realism", but either way.

Luckily, the 2 weapon mechanic isn't really a hindrance to the game. Weapons are fairly well scattered so if you gave up your shotty for the Freeze Gun then realize you want your shotty back, it's not that long before you can swap back.
