So today I beat BioShock who my friend gave me,
The game was so amusing and great!
The gameplay is very fun, The whole idea of plasmids is just fun,
So was the Storyline, it is really good too!
I just had to run to the mall and get BioShock 2 on the day I beat BioShock 1
after a week of adictive playing, instead of that Terraria I was planning to get.
BioShock has got to be one of the best games ive ever seen.

Now BioShock Infinite is near with a new city.
Lets all talk about it..

EDIT: Now I played it (Bioshock 2)..
From a first look it looks like BioShock 1 but they changed littles stuff that made the game not as fun..
The melee is useless (all the splicers run away and it does no good damage without wasting ammo) from what I see, Ill play more and see if there is anything that can change (i know about the Power to the People, still, it dosent make the melee weapon as useful as it was in BioShock 1)
No Xbox 360 controller support,I need to use the stupid pc control
unlike Bioshock 1 that had Xbox controller support..

EDIT: Bioshock 2, Not enjoying it as much. I dont really know why, but it just isnt as fun as Bioshock 1

First Bioshock is one of the greatest games I have ever played. Plasmids idea was fresh and it's fun to use them till this day. For me it's 9/10 game

I didn't play Bioshock 2

I loved Bioshock. It was a fun game and the story was extremely immersive. The fifties styling aroused me in the pants area.

As for Bioshock 2, significantly less so. I think I've only just gotten up to the second fight with a Big Sister and I'm very very bored with it. Haven't touched it for like, six months.

Finally, Bioshock Infinite has me mega-excited.

I consider Bioshock 1 up there w/ System Shock 2 for my top 10 greatest of all-time.  I seriously loved almost everything about the first Bioshock.

Infinite will be amazing, but I'd suggest passing on Bioshock 2.  It was a different team who made it and it just was nowhere near as good.

Jintek, Will BioShock Infinite be made by the team who made BioShock 1?
Because from what it seems the team who made BioShock 2 isnt that good,
From what evreybody says. Im now instaling it..

That Big Daddy you have to murder in the first level glitched out my copy, twice. That was kind of reason enough to never play the game ever again, but I did try it a third time and played until the third or fourth level I believe. It's just not my kind of game. I disliked the gameplay a lot and killing the Big Daddies got boring and tedious quickly. I have to give them some credit for the style, though. The intro was brilliant and the plasmids were an okay (but very disgusting) idea. But Borderlands, if we're going to compare FPRPS, is more my thing.

It was a different team who made it and it just was nowhere near as good.

Partly true. Just before BioShock 1 was released by Irrational Games (which is the developer of BS1, and BS: Infinite) they split up into 2K: Boston and 2K: Australia. 2K Australia was involved in the development of BS2, 2K Boston wasn't. However, the 'core' team of BS1 remained in 2K Boston.

It wasn't a surprise to me that BS2 kinda sucked. It was hard to create a sequel especially if you consider how BS1 ended. Let's not forget the fact that you HAD to use that horrible abomination called GFWL. I've struggled hours with that piece of crap just to get BS2 working. It wouldn't let you save unless you downloaded a bunch of updates which had nothing to do with the game at all.

Also, if you played through BS1, and then immediately start playing BS2, the controls will feel wonky, especially since in BS1 you had to switch between weapons and plasmids, but in BS2 you could use them together. (You may think that'd be an improvement, but it still feels so awkward)

Now last year, before BS: Infinite was announced, 2K Boston changed their name back to Irrational Games. Having the core team of BS1 working on BS: Infinite made me excited for it. And from what I've seen so far it's definitely going to be a great game.

oh god yeah, games for windows live is so annoying. I too have spent many hours trying to be able to log in or get up dates..

But uhh like most people I prefer Bioshock 1 (storyline and gameplay) but I really enjoyed Bioshock 2 for the most part. I wish I was the kind of person who could speed through a game, but I wanted to save every little sister which can be fun if you're in the mood. Sometimes you just want to get on with the plot, you know? Anyways the Protector Trials are pretty awesome if you liked the little sister gathering thing..I don't think most people did, though. There were some really cool parts in Bioshock 2 (like the secret glowing transportation plasmid that you have to chase around the building and then it warps you into that scary ass room!) but its just not as consistently good as the first I don't think.

Love bioshock games and I'm so psyched for infinite.
