Also another thing to note, the potential expansions that may or may not be released are only guaranteed to be free to Alpha players. They could still be free to beta players, we just won't know for sure is all.
This! Like it was said, it's the lawyers being paranoid as shit about things. It's likely beta purchasers still will get the expansions for free but the legal team refuses to show that. Entire legal team, IS BABY!  |

Please note that this change only affects people who buy the game after December 20, so if you got the game for during alpha, you will still get all future updates for free, despite this change. A promise is a promise." "Promise" It means you might get stuff for free, you might not. Who knows. Game is still worth it, imo. |

Also, You really don't know if Notch is going to make Beta players pay for post release content, or not. The only thing that changed was the promise of the free content. Sorry, then I understand bad your last message here. Sorry again, I thinked the wrong way.
I was just pointing that someone cant say "Dont buy Minecraft, its a scam!!!" when on these days there are games like Modern Warfar 2, that its a multiplayer with a little singleplayer history (5 hours) that costs 70$ and have some expensive dlc just for a little maps and then say that no one should buy it. And not when the guy that says that, love a game that have a really scam with crates and a shop with expensive items. It's stupid
Of course Im not really defending Minecraft, but I cant really complain because I buy the game on Alpha, and a lot of people interested on Minecraft knew what will happen and they wait to buy the beta version that costs more to complain.
But of course, Minecraft should be a game that could costs 10, 15 or 20€, and the next updates should be free or have a low cost. Good updates for 1€? Well, better free but...
Anyway, sorry again, I misunderstand you.

wooh, rain, snow, thunder, stats and achivements! I just finished getting all the achivements but the rail one.
the new rails seem extremelly useful for stuff but I can't tell until i can see how boosters compare to boost rails.
