Are those screens supposed to be a remake of Donkey Kong 64? Because it definitely looks like it...

It's an interesting game, that's all I can say. Played for a little bit a few times, never got that interested in it.

It's pretty good, especially if you can get some friends and a server.
That was a fun two months...

Only lesson I can say is if you finally get a dedicated server, make sure it's a good one.

As I love sandbox games, I play this game everyday. I just like finally finishing that underwater base after 3 days of mining for cobblestone, and finding some diamonds on my way down, even when suddenly a creeper decides to spawn in my tower because I forgot the torch there and I have to rebuild it.
Also Multiplayer is fun. You can help other by sharing houses, destroy them again, PVP, Spleef, go mining together, backstab the other at the end to grab all resources and get pushed off a cliff in return :D

Default mode ftw, I'm playing minecraft more than one year and I have never changed skin or mode.

I was the 96th person to purchase the game, and because you used 'mode' in your statement and have mods on in those screenshots I am going to believe that you're lying.

Good day, sir.

How do you know you're the 96th?
I'm around 6,000 or so, don't remember the EXACT number.

I think by mode he may have meant texture pack, but I really just don't know. Would you care to elaborate, Meat?

Those are not my screenshots. And yes, "mode" was texture packs, my english is bad. I registered on MC forums after 2 months of playing the game, just look at my forum profile: http://www.minecraftforum.net/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=31609 It's not full year, but it's pretty close.

Obviously that's not what he meant... he was asking if the maps in the screenshots were designed to resemble the overworld of DK64. I didn't see it at first, but after he said it I went back and looked. The map does look a lot like DK64's overworld.

Listen to him. My community's 1GB RAM Server lags horribly to an extent that it's impossible to play with mobs.

It's been a while since I've played the game, but I believe it's because of the biomes, which is a feature that randomly generates different "climate zones" in different areas of the map, which really serve no purpose other than to add variety to the areas of the game.  This screen looks like it's from a more tropical biomes, perhaps a rain forest?  Just my two cents.

Oh.  I never really used any of the mods, so I was just taking a stab at it.  Oh well.

Graphics sorta do matter a lot though.  Not that they need to be good, but they need to look visually pleasing.  For example, Okami wouldn't be the same if it weren't for its amazing graphics.  Part of Mega Man's charm is the 8-bit design.  Etc.
