I honestly can't say I care too much for Minecraft. I know a lot of people who play it and enjoy it, but I just can't get myself into it. I guess it's not my kind of game.

I was the same way when I first got it.  I found that the most fun can be achieved by going on one way journeys with enemies turned on and chronicle your adventure in a text document, or turn off the baddies and just build.  It may just not be a game for you, which is perfectly fine too.

Man, I got this game a few days ago, and...
Can not... Stop... Playing...
I DON'T KNOW WHY IT'S SO ADDICTING, THIS GAME'S SO STUPID AND POINTLESS, BUT I LOVE IT.
It's like LEGOs. But you're the size of a LEGO person... And it's LEGO on steroids...
Also, there seems to be a few good mods out there to try if you get bored. This game has A LOT of replayability.
If you haven't bought this game, here's my verdict:
If you don't like games that don't have a straight point, or aren't linear enough, don't get this game, since you'll get bored in 5 seconds.
However, if you're like me and like to take your pace and do whatever you please, creatively, destructively, whatever, this game is like crack. But not harmful to your health.
Okay, maybe a little but...
OH MY GOD I WASTED TOO MUCH TIME ON THIS SHITTY FORUM, I GOTTA GET BACK TO MY MINECRAFT KTHXBAI.
No, I'm just kidding really. But it's very addictive, though.

Despite my username, I'm not really a Sonic fan. The name just stuck from when I was one. If I want fast action nowadays I just play Meat Boy. Or chase my cat. Sneaky little devil she is.

Pretty much. MINECRAFT IS MINECRACK.
Although you can break the spell. I went on holiday for a couple of weeks shortly after the Halloween update, and I haven't really touched it since. I think it's partly because I know if I do, I'll be sucked back in and have no time for anything else

I'll post some pics of what I've been working on in my single player game sometime, along with what my friends and I have been working on on our multiplayer server, in a little while.

The other day I spent like 4 hours collecting pink wool so I could use it to make a floating castle in the sky.

Then I spent another two hours building it.

Then my game crashed.

Now I have no wool or castle

That sucks.  Any time I've ever had the game crash one me it puts me literally right back where I was maybe ten seconds in the past.  One time I almost died because I spawned inside sand that I had been shoveling.

Ya, your location saves, but any blocks you removed or placed before the last time the game saves are undone. For the most part, the game only autosaves when you explore a new chunk, or you hit escape. I hadn't done that in a while.

It was just a weird comedy of errors. I think it had to do with the fact that I had just taken the wool out of a chest. So when it crashed, it not only removed all the wool I had placed for the castle, but it also couldn't return it to the chest and it just disappeared into thin air. I also lost a bunch of stuff I'd just looted from a dungeon.

And yes, spawning inside ground that has re-placed itself after a crash is the WORST.

I made an hotel. It has 20 rooms and each roommate can make his room the way he likes. Pics:

Sorry for the quality. And for my english.

Ok, so this is what happens today:

I was playing and then, I leave the computer for a moment. When I came back, I found myself in a room of Bedrocks (rocks impossible to break), so I wasn't able to do anything. It was an Moderator of a server, making a joke. I don't feel too good with that joke, but... well...

Another OP teleportered me, so I was finally able to leave that room. Then, I made my joke: the OP that made me that... well, I went to his room and takes every time he has, and the room, clean. It was my joke.

Onviously, he begans to cry and cry and cry and began speaking with no idea what he was talking about: "BAWWWW" "Well, I'm ok with this, no war ok?" "BAWWWWWWWWWW YOU STOLE MAH ITEMS" "C'mon, your joke was awful and you can get by console the items you want when you want, I can't scape from that bedrocks" "BAWWWW IT DOESN'T MATTER YOU STOLE ME AND YOU WANT TO STOLE ALL THE ITEMS FROM THE USERS THAT ARE ON THE HOTEL BAWWW" Then he called to the other OP to put TNT on my hotel, but I destroy the TNT before it was late and then he die. Very sad, that he, an OP, has to call for help from another OP instead of the Admin who was on the server. Very sad.

Maybe tomorrow my hotel will be burning Meat Boy But I don't care, I have pics of my creation and all the fun that I could get making it. That is the thing that make fun Minecraft.

Oh, sorry for my english again.

...that makes me house look like poop.     Nice work!

Also, can anyone offer me some advice on Creeper-proofing structures?  I was thinking of making a moat of some sort, but I haven't figured out how to go about it quite yet.  Any thoughts?

A moat of lava would solve this case I think.

Minecraft is okay, my brother has the full version and it looked pretty fun. I got the free version and it's pretty fun, I'm not very good at building in it at all though.
