I hate spiders so much more than creepers.
They're fast as hell and they climb frigging walls. At least with creepers you can put up a two block high barrier and they're too stupid to go around it and too lame to jump over it.
I've only ever seen one skeleton riding a spider, but it scared the shit out of me. I was in a dark cave and I ran like hell. Hands down the scariest thing in the game.

They attack you even when it's daytime, but sometimes they kinda glitch and don't even recognize you anymore

I only notice that I get attacked many times during daytime, when there spawned spiders on my house.

Spiders only spawn when there's a really low amount of light.
If spiders spawned in your house they were on "night mode".

If spiders are after you during night, they will continue to hunt you during day, but spiders noth hunting you during night won't attack you during day unless you hit them.

As of late, I've had Spiders randomly lunge at me during the day time. They are neutral at first for a while, then they just decide to randomly attack.

You certainly were on a zone with lack of light (under a tree, your house, ect).

It was day, they spawned in the night, and mostly get on my glass house while night, and when I leave my house during the day, they hunt me down. |

But my computer wouldnt even support it anyway.I play SMB at 600x480 just so it doesnt lag.
