I've only been able to go here 1/3 of the time; sometimes it won't load, sometimes there's errors. If you can read this I made this post, which means I'm really lucky.

I am getting errors aswell, the loading time isn't that bad but still worse than other sites.

I just noticed this forum uses forum software SMF 1.1. The other forums I go to use 1.8, so that may be part of the problem. Still, the sudden great increase in lag is not explained with this.

According to Edmund's twitter, it's because "the game's been out for almost a year." Anyway, Edmund needs to check with the servers.

Exactly. I was confused and he said that's how forums work. He obviously doesn't know much about forums.

Implying Edmund knows much about communities.

I mean, just look at how Super Meat Boy went.
It looks like it was made for Edmund only.

Yeah, it is. Not like many people are around, but it is still kind of annoying.

I'm around nearly all the time, and there's not one moment that I've seen more than 30 people online at one time. Too bad... It would be cool if there were more people who bothered to visit the forum.

I once worked on a chapter called: Soulless!
Chapter has been cancelled. Just making levels when I feel like it and have the time to do it. I cancelled the chapter due to lack of inspiration/time. Homework finally caught up to me.

I'm still here because I like the community.

And I'll stay here if the community stays here.

If it's not a problem on SMF's end then it's something that Kyle has to fix.

Hey, I was so confused by this that I went and looked at the Tweet and I'm almost certain that it was simply a misunderstanding. I'm pretty sure he thought you meant the forums were "slow" like 'not a lot of people are on it right now'... not, 'they're physically not working correctly.'

If you just read over the exchange again with that in mind, it will make a lot more sense. I actually misread it the first time and made the same mistake as Edmund, so that's why I thought of it.

Thankfully it seems like they're a bit more stable right now. I noticed Team Meat's blog was also really slow and weird then too, so I'm pretty sure if it affects both, it will get dealt with.

That is all. Hope everyone is doing well!
