Wow... just got my 6th Mom kill, a minimalist run with Isaac. ...and by "Minimalistic", it wasn't a bad run, I just had bad luck with keys. I did have Little Gish, The Pact, The Book of Revelations, The Small Rock, 2 Cubes of Meat, Magneto, and the Charm of the Vampire, but only the last 2 came from item rooms (I also got Mom's Pad, but I replaced it with the Book.) I'm probably not going to have a run like this again, especially since "Everything's Terrible!" is now in effect.

Wow, I can see Vex is having some good luck with the Wafer. I just unlocked the Wafer, for my lucky 7 th playthrough. I almost got Money = Power, too. I got another early Sheol visit (Slammed a The Stars tarot card at the beginning of The Womb 2, got sent immediately to Mom's Heart, and beat her for the Devil Door credit.), and came really close to beating Satan. I was about one-third of the way through his final form I got stomped on and died. And what did my "main" powerup happen to be? Brimstone, and to be honest, there's a good possiblility I could have won without it. Getting to Satan with 5 hearts isn't terribly bad, but there are spots where I probably could have used an extra container here and there.

Yeah after the Xmas update you can get Golden God with one less item (because the Coal counts as an extra item). I find it funny, because you could also get Golden God in SMB without actually 100%ing it before that was patched (I remember getting it at 97 bandaids).

Woo! Just unlocked It Lives! a few minutes ago, packing some dumb luck along the way. The first power-up I got was a Quarter. 25 cents right off the bat, and I kept stacking on to the total, eventually having over 80 coins at my peak. Amazingly, I only got Greed twice, and even then, both appearances took place in hidden rooms. Now that would be a good idea for a Wrath of the Lamb achievement: get 99 coins without using a Dollar Bill or a Quarter. I love having access to the shop frequently. That, along with the Ouija Board, and a lvl. 3 Meat Boy (The Bandage is taunting me. ), my ninth mom kill was achieved. Now I only have one more kill to Bluebaby. I can't believe it!

Yeah! I just unlocked Bluebaby, and I had a killer run to go with it. It was a Maggy playthough, and fittingly, I got a lot of Soul Hearts along the way. Having the Nail equipped with the Battery really helped, although it does make you a little prone to making mistakes (Using it in a room you didn't need to, rampaging into enemies for extra damage, breaking rocks you needed to use for shelter, etc.), but I didn't mind about that. Now my mom kills stand at an even 10. I did have the chance to visit Sheol, but I passed on it so I could see the 10th ending. I wanted to feel satisfied, instead of having such a momentous run end on a death. Not to mention, I wanted to listen to that hellish music...

After the 11th ending it's just fly buzzing instead of the ending music. I hope that will change.

Isaac now holds... the mighty D6 dice! ...and The Bandage, too! How did I get it? I pulled off the greatest run I've ever had with this game, and probably one of the best possible with Bluebaby. In the Basement 1 alone, I got both Steven and a Mega Mushroom, and I got The Pact in the following floor. By the time I reached the Womb, I was a hulking, giant devil monster and my tears were as large as doors. It's too bad I couldn't kill Satan, however, as my luck ran out just a few rooms into Sheol. But you know what? I couldn't have been any more satisfied. Once I had my D6, I immediately started up a game with Isaac and made my first roll. The result? A Quarter turned into Mom's Eye. This should be fun.
