The level is up. It is hard but not to be beaten because of luck, you can learn to beat it at first try every time.

Hi. Welcome to the community! I'm sorry this post will be so negative, but I have to be honest.

You say this level is 99% done, yet in the video you said you didn't really test it... well, that's a big part of making a level. Testing is one of the most important parts actually, because it helps you learn the control patterns needed to master a section and get a feel for how the pacing of your level is going, as well as if it can even be completed.

There's also the fact that your whole level is just a box floating in space with no attached ground or camera bounds. You clearly have a good grasp on making waypoints and it generally doesn't look that bad as a whole, but I'd say you have a long way to go till this is a fun level.

I wouldn't personally play this because I already know it will just be too frustrating to be fun. Who wants to get through 80% of the level and die repeatedly on one of the final hazards? If you want to make a level that long, you really need to pace it in a way that accommodates the way people actually play the game... trial and error will only get you so far, then people just start quitting. I say this humbly aware of the fact that I fell into the same trap when I started making levels. I learned quickly that if I wanted people to notice what I was doing, making them at least somewhat accessible was a high priority.

You said this is your first level, so this is all excusable, but I'd probably not continue down this same path in the future. I do applaud you though for diving in and making such a complicated level, if only to test your abilities on your first go.

Again, sorry for such a negative post.

This is not negative post, you just say your opinion.

You are only wrong about that i did not test it, maybe you did not understood my comment to the video because of my lack of english knowledge. I said "I did test it so it is 100% beatable".

And i agree last part is ridicoulus and i will change it.

On the frustrating part if you not patient dont play super meat boy. I can sometimes play a level for an hour or two and not get frustrated about it at all.

Ok, I guess I did misunderstand what you said in the video then. Sorry about that.

I'd say that you're quite exceptional if you play a single level for an hour or two, I'm betting if you polled the forums here (which I may do) few would go beyond 10 minutes of constant dying before moving on... at least when it comes to community content that you get no recognition for beating. That's about how long I'd go, 10 maybe 15 minutes if the level looks nice and I want to see what's ahead.

I think I'm pretty solidly above average in what I can do in the game dexterity-wise (not trying to brag, just saying this for practical reasons), and I'm pretty sure I couldn't beat this level. So that would lead me to believe that the majority of others out there would be in the same position.

It's your level so of course you can do what you like with it, I was just hoping to provide some guidance.

Yeah i know i am not planing that all my levels are going to be extremely hard. We was playing smb with my rl friend from school and we figured out i should make a level for his actual skill - so he would be able to beat it in 10 - 15 minutes, just like you said. This is how i started, but i should probably change last trap because i do have problems with that myself. Other traps on this are easy for me (im sorry im better than you :P) but the last one needs some luck as all of saw's have different timing and every time the combination is different.

Hey again! Im at 99.9% of completion. Can Someone please explain me how to make movable camrea for that level?

Ok i figure it out already, only thing i wanted is that bottom caves would be not visible on start - only when you jump down but when i do a box over entire level and set proper zoom it is centered so that you can see half of caves and half of upper area.

Ok i am finished, if you don't wwant to spoil yourself or if you just don't care don't watch the video i will post at end it shows how it looks and it is slightly different than the one i showed before.

I changed the last trap from ridicoulus and ugly to nice looking medium difficulty one. I change some decoration too.

The level should be available tomorow! I will post here when i upload it!

Enjoy and leave some feedback!

Next idea i have is salt factory with some crazy key system, but for now i will get some brake from smb maybe ill be back next week.

You know that the level title is too long for SMB, right? Rename it to something 15 characters or less. Like Weakness. Or Illusion.

It doesn't, the game automatically trim titles that are too long and I'm saying this out of experience.

One of my levels which was called "Beautiful Ground Zero" is named "Beautiful Ground Zer" on the portal. Obviously, the name had to be one character too long. But essentially, if your level name is as long as the one I've provided (or longer), it won't fit.
